Thinking about taking the leap into college? These days, college admission is more competitive than ever. Prepare yourself for the college application process now by completing the groundwork while you are still in high school.
SAT given to all 11th graders and select 12th graders April 14, WIDA Screener: This is a proficiency test given to new students who arrive out of the district who speak a language other than English at home according to their Home Language Survey. The assessment scores English proficiency in Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing in order to determine whether the student should be offered English Learner services at the school or not. These tests are done within 10 days of the student starting school or 30 days after the start of the school year.
WIDA Access: This is a proficiency test that every student who qualifies for English Learner services must take that scores the student based on their academic English proficiency in Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. These tests take place between the first week of February and the last week of March every school year. The results are given to districts at the end of August. Our 11th grade students participate in a preliminary version of the SAT.
This exam will only be issued to the 11th grade students. However, we will have an alternate activity focused on college and career preparation in the gymnasium for 12th graders who attend school this morning during testing sessions. Room assignments for students have been posted since the week of October 5th in the commons and on our 3rd and 4th floors in the B wing of our building.
No registration is required.

Postsecondary Enrollment Options PSEO is a program that allows 10th-, 11th- and 12th-grade students to earn college credit while still in high school, through enrollment in and successful completion of college courses. With traditional PSEO, these courses are generally offered on the campus of the postsecondary institution; some courses are offered online. Postsecondary institutions are not allowed to charge PSEO students for tuition, textbooks or support services.
Students may be charged for equipment that becomes their property when the course or program is completed textbooks that are not returned to the postsecondary institution according to their policies. Most PSEO courses are only open to high school students during their 11th- and 12th-grade year, with each participating college and university setting their own requirements for enrollment into the PSEO courses and programs.
